I believe them to be Early American Coin Silver

Doggett's New-York City Directory of 1846 records Henry Josephi as a Watchmaker located at 395, Broadway.

The New York City Directory of 1847 and of 1849 record Henry Josephi as a Watchmaker located at 395, Broadway.

The New York Mercantile Union Business Directory of 1850 records him at the same address.


An earlier entry in The New York City and Co-partnership Directory of 1842 records him at 422, Broadway.
