unicorn head- maker's mark

I have a 3- legged master salt dish with a colbalt blue insert that I am trying to find information on the maker's mark. It is a picture of a unicorn's head with a braided rope underneath it. Underneath the rope it says sterling 416.

I have searched this website and cannot find it, along with numerous other books.

If anyone has any knowledge on this maker's mark it would be very appreciated.

One possibilty might be H.H. Curtis & Company, North Attleboro, Massachusetts (1891-1915).

Thank you for the information. This helps alot. The unicorn is very similar to the pictures you sent me. The only difference is that the unicorn's horn seems to be coming from his forehead and not his long nose. I am not sure if this indeed makes a difference or not.

Just saw another mark that might be a possibility. Geoffrey T. Blake of Old Newbury Crafters, Amesbury, Massachusetts. Still working today, I believe, and used this mark since 1971. Since 1965 Old Newbury Crafters has used the personal signature mark of the craftsman who made it. However, it would also have been stamped "O.N.C. Handwrought".
