ID Help Needed - Unmarked Unknown Mfg - Pie Server

Sure hope someone can help us ID this piece recently purchased. The pie server's only marking is 'sterling'. We're unsure if the blade is plated or stainless (again, no markings whatsoever). The only thing on the entire piece is 'sterling' at the base of the handle near the bolster. It measures 9 3/4" overall, the handle is 4 1/8" long. Any help would be most appreciated. Thank you.
