J.B. & S.M. Khowles early makers mark?

Let's try this one more time shall we. The pattern is clearly 1876 Clinton by J.B. & S.M. Knowles but this makers mark appears to be more of a cross between Knowles and Ellmore Silver Co. Would very much appreciate your imput.
