I have 2 pieces with the these marks...I'm guessing the mark is American...they are always very heavy sterling pieces...marked simply LMD 925 ...the mark is slightly different in each..that the bottom line of the L comes completely under the M to underline it...this occurs in one of the pieces...the other is standard LMD...thanks for your time!
