Help identifying unknown mark

I need help identifying the mark on this spoon:

I'm not to sure about this, but maybe it's Joseph Seymour whose mark is shown on this site in this link:

Also, that mark might clean up some. I'm not sure if it's truly adviseable, but for myself, I use soap and water and a toothpick to reveal marks like that quite often.

I took your suggestion and cleaned the mark. (I'll post a new picture once my camera re-charges.)

There does not appear to be any lettering within the marks, which are quite small. I'll do some more research on Joseph Seymour — I had noticed the similarity too.

Although, one of the marks on this site is the star like symbol followed by an S and the eagle last, I have seen that combination reversed which does fit your mark fairly well.

Here's a photo of the mark after further cleaning, along with the whole spoon (actually another from the same set with a clearer mark). I found an image of a Joseph Seymour Kentucky Tipt pattern spoon that seems identical. Thanks again.
