What company has a marking of an Indian head with feather?

Postby mnmnichols » Fri Nov 25, 2005 11:42 pm

I have a beautiful set I inherited from my grandmother. It is very ornate with roses and flowers all over it and it includes all of the serving pieces including the carving set. I have been unable to find the marking in the encyclopedia but it has a marking of a profile of an indian brave head with a feather that runs down the back, I would be grateful if someone could tell me who the maker is. Thank you

International Silver Company used the Indian Head mark on Meriden Britannia Sterling pieces after 1898 up till 1930's. Is your mark shown here : http://www.silvercollecting.com/silvermarksI.html
