I have this spoon, Can you identify the mark? It may be hard to make out, but the letters are R. & C. A.

Am I alone in thinking that the markings may go:

(a) Maker's mark
(b) Male Duty Mark
(c) Town Mark(?)
(d) Lion Passant

Having said that, I have no record of a maker with the R & C A mark.
