Help needed identifying unknown marks.

These marks belong to a spoon which according to the estate from which it was acquired is a very old American sterling spoon. I would appreciate any information that anyone might have to confirm this and perhaps shed a little more light on date and maker. This spoon is part of a set of 6. It measures approx. 6". (I did try to photograph the spoon as well but it keeps coming out too large and I don't have the knowledge to make the correction.)

Hello Trudy.

Looks like another version of Joseph Seymour's mark.
The cross on the left may have been adde later.
Your mark is shown in Dorothy rainwater's book as belonging to Seymour.

Thanks Pat.

That cross really threw me off and I needed someone with greater experience to get me going in the right direction. I will focus on Joseph Seymour and see what I can learn.

I really appreciate your help.
