That’s a well known, but dangerous “side-effect” of many maker’s-marks-guides: Almost of them don’t indicate, next to the marks image, also the main product range and specialities of the maker.
The maker’s mark of »
Arthur Möhrle« isn’t an »
AM«
in an oval — but an »
AM« in a horizontally divided
shield upper half, and in the lower half, there is a trefoil.
They are one of the “
younger” of the old ones of the Schwäbisch Gmünd
Silverwares factories; now
115 years “
old”.

Well, on the inner side of the dustcover are some punches of numerals; but not legible too! Maybe that is also one of the reasons, that you haven’t got any answers?
