Possibly German mark??

Post by Stallard99 »

Hi, silver napkin ring, I was told it was German but I have struggled to find anything conclusive,, any help appreciated, marks are rubbed but I'm hoping someone will be able to identify them.
It is engraved with the name ' Catherinka'.

Hi,
It is German, no doubt, because the second mark from the right is crescent and crown.
See here:

Maker is difficult do decipher.

I suppose the marks to be from Lutz & Weiss, Pforzheim, because I know the 800 in this form only from that company.
