Are these fake German marks?

I came across an item that has roused my suspicion a bit. The seller is presenting the item as silver-plated, which is fine, but when I look at the marks, I see crescent moon and crown. There's no purity mark, though. However, the size of the item does not quite match the weight of the item, so I'm suspecting a heavier base metal of some sort. The item is 4.6'' tall, 5" wide, and 3.5" deep (or 11.7 cm by 12.7 cm by 8.9 cm), and weighs 11.4 ounces (or 323 grams). Is this item legit solid 800 silver, or is it marked incorrectly? Also, I want to emphasize again that the seller is NOT claiming that this is solid silver, so I believe the seller is honest.
