I have this spoon marked with a horse and Cast or Gast.
It appears to be American coin silver, however I am not sure.
Any help or direction greatly appreciated!

Maker is Johann Friedrich GAST, Ratzeburg (Schleswig-Holstein, Germany) born 1795, died 1862.
