Unknown German hallmark MM

Postby FrankHummel » Tue Nov 30, 2021 8:04 am

Hello,
I just received this German Jugendstil basket.
The hallmark ist 800, moon, crown, something I can´t identify (could be a lion´s head with crown) and two letters MM together.
Does anyone know the manufacturer / the last two hallmarks?
@admin: you are allowed to use the hallmark on your website.
Best regards,
Frank

The lion's head is the mark of Franz Bahner AG Düsseldorf (Germany). The company made mostly flatware of high quality and only few hollowware. This is a rather rare example in "Jugendstil". MM could be the seller Max Manert, Cologne (without obligo).
