Dear all,

Lately, I have acquired a silver salt cellar (photo below).

Image

Of marks underside (see photo) I am reasonably sure that the left one is from town of Wertheim. The other two are mystery to me.
More important, I have no idea when, and by whom the object was made. My guess would be early XIX but it is purely a conjecture.

I shall greatly appreciaty any help.

Thank you very much. Needless to say I am a bit disappointed.
So N is probably the first letter of their name, and the remaining punch is simply a pseudo-mark.
Do you know if they are still in business?

Hi,
Family owned business:
Silberwarenmanufaktur
Dr. Herbert Bauer, Hanau

See here:

In regard of N letter; although Neresheimer begins with N, I think it`s just another pseudo mark for Nuremberg, at least I have seen many N in Hanau silver.
Regards

Thank you again for your help.
Frankly speaking, I was hoping that they ceased to operate and it may be possible to narrow the dating.
Anyway, if I assume that it is end of XIX/beginning of XX, am I right or am I wrong for the third time?
