I bought 6 of these spoons in Ansbach many years ago without asking for the details. I have found a few similar marks but nothing exact. Can anyone please tell me about this mark - maker & approx date? Thank you.

The pattern was in production pretty much from beginning to end of the company. I tend to believe that the eagle in a circle was used until the early 1920ies only, just a gut feeling though. As the piece shown here has German hallmarks introduced in 1884/1886 this gives a very rough time frame. Regards, Bahner
