Hi all!
I believe this mark belongs to Stork & Sinsheimer from Hanau, but I'm not sure. I would be grateful for any opinions.
Regards.

Hi Bahner!
Many thanks for your reply!
Unfortunately I cannot find information about this company. During what period of time did this firm operate?
Regards.

Hello, little is known about Berg. Active since the first half of the 1850ies I believe that the production of small silverware (I am not aware of larger pieces or of flatware) went well into the 1920ies. There was (and maybe still is) a jeweller Berg and Co in Stuttgart, possibly this very company minus the silverware production. If I remember correctly the flower mark seen here was reproduced in the Adress- and Handbook for Goldsmiths of 1903. A fineness 900/1000 is uncommon in Germany, it seems to have been a kind of specialty with Berg's (disregarding the small German workshops that started using it more and more often for hollowware and flatware since the 1930ies). Regards Bahner
