Greetings and thank you in advance for any assistance you can provide. I was able to find that this piece was produced by Georg Roth, but for the life of me I can't find any information on purity marks. I assume this is plated, but just wanted to make sure. Thank you for your assistance.

Hi,
I have embedded your images.
It is Georg Roth of Hanau. He is known to have produced renaissance revival serving forks and spoons.
(No dimensions and weight of your fork is given, though).
There are no fineness marks on most of Hanau silver. It can be anything from .800 to .935.
For example,Berthold Müller (Chester and London) imported Hanau silver to Britain,Georg Roth included, and of course it had to be sterling or higher fineness.
So, your item is solid silver but of undetermined fineness.

Thank you for embedding the images...it took me quite a while how to figure out how to even get the links up. Also, thank you so much for the information. The piece is 12 inches long and 2 7/8 inches wide and weighs a hefty 199 grams.
