Help Identify

Postby roselane » Sun Oct 15, 2006 4:34 pm

Hi. I am new to the forum and have not posted before. I need help in dating and identifing this box. The marks on the bottom are quite worn. Should I attempt to clean it? All I know about it is that it is probably German.

Welcome. The photos of the marks are too small to decipher. Can you post a larger photo?

Thanks for responding. I am trying to get a better picture of the markings. The one in the middle is 13 with a skeleton key under it.
