a german hallmark i couldn't identify, js, sj?

Postby candelabra » Fri May 11, 2018 8:22 am

hello 925-1000ers!
after an intensive but fruitless search, i hope to find some experts able to identify this hallmark on a german candelabra.
the candelabra is of three parts, two brackets and the corpus. the brackets are marked on the inside bottoms, the corpus on the base.

best wishes,

ingo

hey dognose and bahner!
mr. kern, the former owner and master of c.kern in schwäbisch gmünd confirmed your hints. another hallmark josef schmid used was i/j s, written beneath each other.
the hallmark kern used over the last years, the company was closed last year, having dismissed the last workers in 2004, was kck.
thanks a lot again!

Hi Ingo,

Many thanks for updating the topic and confirming Bahner was correct with his answer (as always!).
