Hi all,

Here is a laddle (not cleaned yet !) that I suppose is German, around 1800-1830 ?.
The laddle :

The marks :
13 in an oval : probably mark for fittness (13 lötig)
probably a lion with a sword : city mark ?
a swan in an oval : French mark for items from abroad (at least 800/1000), 1893-1970

Do you know the origin of this object ? And when it was made ?
Thanks !

HI Theoderich

I had looked more like the shape of the shield,
the city of Darmstadt mark I have seen,
but to be an oval shield not adopted correctly.
Thanks for showing.

Hi Dendriet and Theoderich

Thanks for your help !
It seems indeed to be Mainz.
But is it normal that my "13" mark is different from yours Theoderich ?

Unfortunatly I did not notice any marker's mark.

Regards.
