unidentified candelabra - German?

Could anybody help me to identify the silvermark of these candelabras? Can be German?

Welcome to the forum.
The mark ``13`` stands for 13 Lot fineness (.813). It was used in Germany (until 1886) and Austria – Hungary (until 1866).

``CSL``? is maker`s mark.
Town mark was either struck separately or ``13`` Lot incorporated. It`s missing here but that was not uncommon. Without town mark it`s almost impossible to identify both the country and the maker.
I suppose you have searched for every mark.
The style is baroque revival,mid 19th century.

Sadly, I cannot locate town mark on the items.
The maker's mark appears as "ZSO" or "OSZ".



I was able to locate a relatively new-looking mark on the items.
It may be an Egyptian fineness mark (800)?
However, I guess it doesn't help to clarify the origin of the items...

Yes, Cairo,fineness .800.Since 1916.
Very strange combination of marks,indeed.Have never seen it before.
Old German silver assayed in Cairo. Not very likely.
Egyptian silver marked with 13 Lot to deceive. Possible.
On the other hand, candlesticks look very European baroque revival.
In a word, a mystery.

The base of the candelabra has the old German marks ("ZSO" and 13).
The very thin "crowns" of candelabra (that holds the candle) has the Egyptian mark (800), that maybe a replacement/addition because of functional reasons. I guess...

Hi,
I suppose candle holders bobeches (cups) are removable.That explains everything. They are often missing and replaced.I prefer cut glass.
Meaning candlesticks are authentic but still no idea of the country of origin and let alone the maker.
Germany or Austria mid/19th century is the best I can do.

Hi,
I forgot to mention that these are quite heavy items (heigth: 28cm, weight: 1212g total).
And the candelsticks made by casting (not filled or plate ones).
