Candelabra mark

Postby juantotree » Thu Aug 20, 2015 5:58 am

Hi,

This is a sconce from a candelabra which I think may be of German origin. All the component pieces are stamped with the 13 loth mark and also the mark shown in the image below, which I assume is a makers mark. Can anybody help with identifying this mark?

Many thanks

Martin

Hi, Dutch tax mark, see the script-letter S and script -letter I at:
viewtopic.php?f=5&t=32028

13 lot or .812 fineness in the Netherlands, before 1953, is below legal standard.

Oel.
