I have what I believe to be a Paris made pre 1789 made gravy boat decorated with the bust of a nobel, perhaps King Louis XIV. Looking to properly date and find out more information about the item. The bottom of both pieces have the same marks. Thank you in advance for any help. I apologize for the low quality images.

Hi
can you post close ups of the 7 busts? Then we can try to identify them.

Agree with Trev: neither the style or the marks are French, but rather typical of the Hanau historicizing style so popular in the nineteenth century. Sorry.

Hi
I thought these are seven different busts, so seven different people. To identify this single persons profile is difficult, also a lot of wear. But seeing all busts we may get a clue. From what I see late 17th century fashion and hairdress.
