Hello. I have 2 spoons like this, and they have only one mark on each of them.
It is I guess an N, unless it is a Z,
3 1/2 inches long each.
Any info. would be much appreciated. Thanks.

Going through some hallmark databases, I found
Christian Peter Naeboe, who used the N in a circle, but can't find any examples of his work.
Any thoughts?

As Christian Peter Næboe was a danish silversmith from Copenhagen and later assayer of Copenhagen (1823-1831), His works would most definetely contain the town mark of Copenhagen. Therefore I do not think it is his work, although is looks like his assay mark. There should be at least two other marks, if it was to be connected to him.
The mark of the assayer is the guarantee of the assayer that the silver content is at least 83% percent.

Best regards
Søren

Maybe N in circle is Nurnberg City Mark? See http://www.925-1000.com/Fgerman_marks_b1884_5.html

Not every N is Nürnberg. Most probably Hanau, and both Augsburg acorn and Nürnberg were faked or made elsewhere in the style of German Renaissance silver. In a word, it is NOT old Nürnberg.
