Silver centerpiece

Postby madej » Wed Jan 21, 2015 6:38 pm

Hello. Can you tell me something about this centerpiece ? It has a crown and crescent and 800 hallmarks , so this is the silver after 1886 . Will this be the end of the 19th century , or the begininning of the 20th century?
Silver weight is 1kg.

Hi, could you describe the mark, as I see it; crescent moon and crown 800 or the national German minimum standard mark but I fail to see a maker’s mark? Even better could you show us a clear enhanced image of the marks?

I also think 800 is a crescent and crown, goldsmith hallmarks no . I do not have a better photo :(
I put a picture centerpiece again because I want to know from which it originates years

Hi,

Nice centerpiece, and indeed late 19th century-early 20th century.
