Hello everyone
Here's another anthropomorphic spoon. I think the marks are from Hanau but I have not found an exact match.

Any help will be appreciated

Good day Amena,

Hope your enjoying your holidays. Appears to be an Augsburg acorn mark. If I spin my iPad over the makers seems to read as an intertwined SA. See if that works for you.

Dear Amena

we had similar spoons in this post:
viewtopic.php?f=8&t=30797&p=76656&hilit=herma#p76656
Hermenlöffel, Herma spoons.
I think your spoon is also 19th century. The makers mark puzzels me. It looks as if one mark was stamped over the other. It looks like an S and an A, but looking at the serifs from the S, it looks as if the S is upside down to the A.
Can you check if this is really one stamp or two stamps over each other?

Kind regards

Jörg

The only mark that in my opinion seems genuine is the "13"
I don’t know enough about German marks to decide for certain whether the mark of Habsburg is genuine or not, but looking closely there is something that strikes me as wrong.

The mark of the manufacturer is beaten once, and could be a S and A intertwined, but also an S and V intertwined; however, the shape is so special that anyone who had already seen it would remember.
My gut feeling is that they are fantasy marks, but any opinion will be welcome.
Kind regards

Just rotating the images. To me, 'SV' looks more likely.

Hi,

Probably a fantasy makersmark. Looks like AS to me. The way the "A" and "S" are formed looks like mark 794, page 800 Seling/Beck.

Hi,

There is no mark of Habsburg as far as I know. There are cities like Libau in Habsburg that have their own mark. The supposed citymark on the spoon looks like the mark of Augsburg, but it is probably a fantasy mark.

Zilverik

Forgive the mistake, I meant Augsburg.
Thanks for your opinion.
