Help with vintage silver box

Can someone please help me with this very old silver box. I am trying to find out where it is from, age, and if known the artist. Thank you for your help. It looks like it could be German, but I don't see any German marks like these. Thank you for your help.

I did notice on the web hosting download there was a thumbnail url? Should I use that?
