Thank you Hose_dk for those interesting comments
I got the spoon from north England. From a vendor, I bought approximately 20 spoons.
I bought them mainly because I knew it would be interesting to find out what they are.
One of the spoons was English so I understood that one.
All the others have markings which are not clear to me but they all look non-English, (central European or perhaps celtic).
I am carefully cleaning them and posting them on this site and I am just usually guessing their origin.
For example I listed one under Scottish silver but I had no replies so perhaps it isn't.
I have had replies regarding 3 of the spoons and those are all originating from southern Germany or Switzerland.
You are right - the makers mark is not much to go on and my photo is poor.
I attach a better photo
Any more thoughts ? Thank you for your thoughts so far
