i just recieved this cute goblet and can't find that mark in the net.
my friend said that 17th c. german piece.
i will be happy for details.

The others seem to be ignoring your questions, so I will go ahead and tell you. I don't know who made your goblet, but it wasn't in the 17th c.
The 12 stands for 12 loth or 12/16 silver quality. It looks like 19th c. as most silver marked 12. I can't make out the maker's mark,
you might want to say whether it is OS or AS. I won't comment on the style, except to say it is quite unusual. I wouldn't like to guess where it was made, except to say it was also out of the cultural norm.

You didn't give a size, but if an egg would just about fit inside, it might be an egg cup.

I cant help either.
I have (in a book) once seen a glass with same decoration - stars in these Squares. That glass was described as a fake decoration made on a 19th Century glass, in the 1960ties, to indicate renaissance.
If we assume that star+these Squares are that style. Then goblet could very well fit into the historicismus around 1900 +/-

it's about 10cm tall.weight 72g.
the hallmark looks like "cs" but im not sure.
