who can identify an 835S napkin-ring? Possibly not german but scandinavian?!

Hi all,
I succeeded in finding the maker myself by asking some jewellers in Munich. The photo of the mark is upside down, you have to turn it and then you read: GL with a star for Georg Lauer in Pforzheim founded 1895 and still existing.
