I have large spoon/ladle and I am unable to identify the marker (Germany, Russia, Poland?)- I could not find it on any of the silver hallmark websites. I apologize for poor quality of the photo but item is not in my possession yet, I'll try do better one when I get the spoon.

Thanks and I appreciate any assistance.

Hi Theoderich,

Thanks for your help. I would appreciate any further hints in this direction from anyone. I also wonder about silver purity (if at all) of this item, maybe 800 or 750 ???

Regards,
Reiner K

in Berlin was 12 Loth (750/1000) standard -
if there was a higher alloy- there was an extra mark with 13

after 1888 was 800 standard in Germany

Hi, G. Bock most likely was the retailer, not necessarily in Berlin. Best wishes, Bahner
