This spoon was purchased at a local estate sale listed as Continental Silver Cady Spoon. I have not found any marks like those above if any one knows the maker or silver content please let me know. Third hallmark appears to be a Jester but im not positive.

Hi,

Welcome to the Forum.

Looks like German rather than American.

The pellet top 'A' mark was used at Hanau. See Jakob Storck & Louis Sinsheimer at: http://www.925-1000.com/Fgerman_hanau_marks_01.html

Trev.-

Thank you so much for the help. After researching Hanau marks i am more than confident i found the age & maker just like you suggested. I will be more careful purchasing unknown silver in the future! - Richard
