Does anybody know from wich country this mark is and in what year it's made?

Hi FredR and welcome to the forum!

The left mark is the maker's mark, which is unknown to me.
830S is 830/1000 S as in silver.
The crescent and the crown are since 1886, the German "official" marks.

So my answer is, made in Germany after 1886.

By all my knowledge, and some guide, actually this mark is unknown by me. Also if I turn it top down - this hart, leaf shape or sugar cone don't match.

Yours snuff box could be made in Germany in a little workshop in Hanau, Pforzheim or Schwäbisch Gmünd (main German production center of these objects); and "maker's mark" could be of a whole saler or retailer?

I hope that somebody else know this mark and would answer yours questions.
