Hello
Shown rush job is incorrect — Wilke’s production range was only plated cutlery!
H.AHRENS is a retailer’s sign.
Around 1903 in Germany were two H. Ahrens retailer:
H. Ahrens, Neustädterstr. 44, Hamburg
Hch. Ahrens, Hoflieferant (Court supplier), Stralsund
Spoons pattern isn’t regional in Germany — shown marks (from 1888 on) don’t simple indicate origin.
Often retailers buy her supply by regional manufacturer. In Hamburg it was A.C. Franck — one of Stralsund’s nearest manufactory's was Felisch & Kirchheim.
Both makers mark don’t fit.
Signification is: Question remain still unsolved.
Kind regards silverport
