I find in Rosenberg 3 in the Index a "W / 12" Nr. 4881 - but there was no Image and I have only the Index of Rosenberg3 Band 3

Could it be Weißenfels?
Is the Lion the makersmark?
1818 was the inscription

Now I think it is Weißenfels and the Lion is not the makers mark - it is a second townmark - Image

an interesting point - I got a mail
there was a master with the name "Löwe" (Lion)

(from a book )
>>Johann Christian Löwedes (Löwe), des Schul Meisters Sohn aus
Üchtriz (Uichteritz bei Weißenfels)
eingeschrieben zur Lehre am: 22.6.1797 auf 6 Jahre
Anfang: 22.6.1797
Ende: 6.10.1801 (1 Å“ Lehrjahre erlassen)<<

Johann Christian Löwedes (Löwe), son of the schoolmaster from Uichteritz ( near by Weißenfels)
registered as apprentice to 6 years
to start 22.6.1797
end (6.10.1801) over one year of apprentice was forgived

this is a possibility
