Dear members,
I recenlly inherated a vintage rolex watch from an ancestor that passed away. The mechanism and dial seems to be original rolex parts, but case and bracelet sems to be jewellery pieces mada by a 3rd party, maybe in France. The watch has 2 marks,. One of them seems to be the freanch 18k gold eagle mark and is located in the case. The other onse seems to be the case maker hallmark located in the case back. After browsing hundreds of french maker hallmarks i still have not been able to identify the maker.
I'm trying to identify the origin of the watch, maybe where it was made or assembed.
Maybe your experience could add some degree of certaintly in my research.
I attch some pictures of the marks and the whole item here
