Postby jbranam » Thu Dec 14, 2006 2:33 am

Can anyone tell me if this is a true Cartier Bracelet? And if so how old is it?

Suggest you contact Cartier, only their opinion would be worthwhile.

Thats what I was going to do but the only store near me is pretty far.

Just wanted to see if anyone know anything about this Hallmark? I have been doing some searching and can't find this one. The Hallmarks today are alot cleaner looking. The closes I have come was a peice that was in silver and I think it was Flatware.

Thanks for the input have a great holiday!

It doesn't look like a genuine Cartier to me. First, Cartier uses real screws in their bracelets. You can tell by the way the screws are etched into the piece that they're not real. Also, the workmanship of the etching of the screws is not very sharp or detailed. Cartier always uses top craftsmanship on their pieces.

In reference to the hallmarks. Remember that they can eaisly be faked. There are a lot of dishonest people out there.

This is all just my opinion as an estate jeweler. I may be wrong. Take it to Cartier if you have any doubts.
