The gold stamp is an eagle head which I believe is the 18k French stamp. Each has been hand engraved with a serial number. They also have on the chain linking the two cufflinks a makers mark of an "A" and what looks like "&". I cannot make out any other markings. They are engraved with the numbers 4781 on each of the buttons.
There is another gold birds head on the chain as well and something else but it may be damage and not a mark. I cannot make it out.
If anyone has any ideas or can help me find out the maker it would be much appreciated.
