Gold Ring Mark Identification

Post by SoulsOfWolves »

Hi! I was hoping somebody could help me identify the mark on this ring. From what I can tell, it says 14K HH (although the "K" looks weird. Maybe it's overlapping with part of the HH), so I at least know it's 14 karat white gold, but what is the HH? I'm pretty sure it's an American ring, but I'm not 100% sure of that, and I'm guessing it was made anywhere between the 30s and 50s. Sorry for the quality of the photo as well. My phone doesn't take the best pictures of small things, and I don't have a better camera.

I did try to look up marks, but the closest I've found are "Hooykaas, Schoonhovensche Zilverfabriek H." marks, and as far as I can tell, they didn't make jewelry.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
