I have a few "Field Day" medals from 1911 and 1912. They are medals with ribbons. The reverse is stamped XGOLDX and also the letter N in a shield. They're in boxes marked J.F. Newman Manufacturing Jewelry 11 John St. N.Y.
I'm looking for information on the gold content. What does XGOLDX mean?
Thank you, Michael
