1940's or so Ring

Postby ufang2 » Thu Sep 28, 2006 1:06 am

I bought a wedding ring at a local antique shop. I believe it was made sometime in the mid 1940’s. From what I can tell it has an Italian hallmark. It has two stamps. The first is a 750 which I believe means 18k gold. The other I can only make out 189 and I believe WAL but the last letters is an AL. I can't make out the what's between 189 and AL. Here are my best pics. Not really good

Hi,

A belated welcome to the Forum.

The maker of your ring was Angelo Pasini of Valenza.

See: viewtopic.php?f=38&t=27003&start=35 and http://www.925-1000.com/Fitalian_marks_01.html

Trev.
