Identifying marking on gold bracelet

Postby happytappy9 » Wed Jul 06, 2016 11:07 pm

Hi!

I have this bracelet that was a gift from my grandmother (heirloom) that I need help identifying the markings on.
I can see the 750, so I know that means 18K gold, but next to it there is a stamp that I can only read as "319" Does anyone have any idea what this mean? Or does it say something else? Thanks for any help!

The marks appear to mimic those in use in Italy, but are clearly different.
Make an acid test would be advisable.
Good luck

Hi,
Right, marks look Italian but they are NOT. Most probably made in Middle East.Have seen similar marks (the second mark) starting with numerals and then Arabic lettering. Marks are obviously cut by someone not very familiar with Latin alphabet, but visually reproduced.
As suggested, acid test is very advisable.
Best wishes
