Id Help with Gold Bracelet

Hi,

I wonder if anyone can help with this. I have inherited a gold(colour) bracelet, I was all ways told it was gold but i'm unsure. Below are links to two pictures one mark is so rubbed you can not see it but the other looks like RC in a hexagon with a arrow head underneath. It does look like RC and not RG which I presume is Rolled Gold. The bracelet weighs 25g and is quite delicate.

Many thanks for your help.

James

Hi James,

Welcome to the Forum.

Can you make out anything at all in the oval mark?

Trev.

Hi Trev,

Unfortunately not, its very rubbed or was not punched too well. I asked a local jeweler but they were unable to help. They said they could test it but I don't want to damage it, I'm not too sure how invasive a gold test is.

It looks like it maybe going back in the drawer.

Many thanks for the reply.

James

Hello! I have a very unique ring but I do not know what one of the marks means. It is marked 18k 750 (which I do understand), but on the other side is a symbol that looks like the Pi symbol with a line through it. It almost looks like the initials FE or possibly TF but I'm not sure. I can't seem to upload the picture to your website, but I will be happy to send it to you in an email!

Thank you so much!
Michelle

Hello welcome to the forum. Please start a new thread .

To upload images.
This is how you could do it. Use a good digital camera with macro function and daylight only, no flash.
You make the required photos and store those at a photo hosting site. The photo host will ask you if you like to keep original size or like to re-size; re-size to 800x600 and upload the image(s). After you have uploaded your re-sized image, you can choose what kind of link you like to provide to enable others to view your image. You have four choices; Direct, Forum, Alt Forum and HTML; choose Forum and copy the link. Now you can paste the image-link in your 925-1000 new topic text, please use the preview button, to check quality of the image before posting.
For photo/image hosting you could choose ImageShack not free of charge but Ad free: https://imageshack.com/ for free but plenty of Ads; but there are many other free hosting sites

I prefer a reliable image host because I do not like to lose my images. We request people not to remove their images and keep those images as long as possible for their own benefit and to benefit others. Most topics with missing images are almost worthless. See: http://www.925-1000.com/forum/viewtopic ... 61&t=22423

Good luck and we hope to see some of your images.

Oel.
