Hello... I am new to this forum. I have been trying to find information online about a pendant I was recently gifted from my mother in law in Algeria. It belonged to her mother and was originally from Tunisia, I believe. I cannot make out the hallmark and do not know anything about gold jewellery.. any information would be useful and interesting to know more about it. I have linked a few photos.. the best I could get of the tiny mark. I don't even know if it is upside down... sorry.. make sense to anyone? :)

Thank you in advance for any comments!

Hello Clarixi,

If you are still wondering about the hallmark on your Gold Hand of Fatima Pendant, I can tell you that the mark is actually a maker's mark. It is Tunisian and comprised of the registered number of the maker in the center and the point have 2 Arabic letters. This style of mark began in 1955 and has been in use since. The Tunisian Assay Offices would be the only location that the list of makers could be identified.

Hope that helps and sorry that I did not see this post sooner.
