Double Albert Watch Chain

Postby midorosan » Tue May 01, 2012 5:36 am

I am new here and am seeking help with the hallmark on a watch chain I bought in the early seventies in London. The initials are WHW Ld the gold is 9.375 and the assay mark is the anchor passant or horizontal. I also have a fob which I bought also in London in the seventies and I recall it being more expensive than the chain it is not marked and looks to be more like 18carat. Any help as to age and/or maker would be most helpful as I am looking to dispose of this along with other related items.
I have tried to post photographs but am unable to I read the FAQs but am none the wiser clearly I am not smart enough for this forum.
