Victorian Locket on 14K Fob - Unknown Mark - Please Help!

This locket has the look and feel of gold. The fob it is attached to is marked 14K. The locket is marked with a 2 and a double triangle. Can anyone help me id this mark?

Hello.

Not sure about this. Dorothy Rainwater's book " American Jewelry Manufacturers" shows a similar mark for Goldsmith, Stern & Company of New York City.
They were a large firm and used several different marks.
