585 Ring with Finland Like Design. Can't Identify Hallmark

This ring has a partial 585 stamp, so this unidentified hallmark could be partial too. The shank is very narrow.[/b]

The number 585

What does the number because I have some Gold rings,chains and other things but they all have 585. My Mom is from Austria she passed and I have some nice pices but they all have 585. Does anybody tell me what that number means? Thanks

585 indicates 585/1000 equivalent to 14 carat gold.
