the image of the stones is far too blurry to make any halfways accurate assumptions. if you can take an enormous-resolution picture and crop it down to the essential elements - the stones (actually one would suffice) and the marks - it would be more productive.

Citrine, most likely, and the zoning is a common tell-tale sign. Yellow sapphire would be more brilliant, especially with the baguettes (are half of them missing?). Topaz is to brittle to be channel set. Almost impossible to tell from a photograph.

The mark I do not recognise, sorry.

Yes they are missing on one half. The stone is still a little dirty. The one side is missing three stones.I do not know if the brokeout or fell out.Is there a place I can possibly look for the mark.Is it probably a makers mark or region mark? and about how old is it.
thanks
James

Stylisticly it is modern, within the past 20 years, a fairly common design, but not by any of the bigger Americain casting houses, they all mark their castings in the mould and typically most jewelers would not take the time to remove the marks. Unusual to have it set with semi-precious stone as the side stones, it may have been set to order. The interior shows the wax was worked to reduce the weight, so I would say mid-'90's to now. Lack of karat stamp or any other mark than the one shown says it is not from most of Europe or America.

You can see damage to the lower left hand edge of the channel. Most likely one stone came out and the others shifted and fell before the owner noticed.
