Hello, I need help identifying these S & P shakers

There is an argument if these are silver plated, or sterling. I say sterling (just because it says so), but there is some green oxidation on the salt shakers. Any help would be appreciated!

Two things:

a jeweller can test for silver content - this will be unequivocal;

if the silver has been cleaned with a proprietary silver foam or paste and the silver is not washed, any remaining white powder will eventually react with the copper (7.5%) with which the silver is alloyed - this oxide is green, as can be seen in the lovely patinas of old copper roofs.

I believe the mark on the right is a Canadian mark used since 1934 to indicate a fineness of .925.
(The crown in a C is for gold.)
